Born in Croatia in 1973, David Maljkovic´ is one of the most intriguing artists of his generation. In his installations, comprising mostly video, but also photographs, collages and drawings, Maljkovic´ explores the chequered history of Eastern Europe, particularly the consequences of the region’s transformation from a Communist to a capitalist form of society.
